    Teleconferencing

Oftentimes, it can be very difficult for a presenter to be physically present at an event because of travel costs, other responsibilities, or simple convenience. Thankfully, we now have the technology to make anyone in the world feel like they are sitting in the same room with you. Our 30+ years of combined experience make us experts in our field and we are here to help make the most of your event, regardless of your presenter’s location.

Some pros of teleconferencing at a conference include:

  • Ability to attend a meeting from hundreds of miles away
  • Ability to accommodate a late change or challenge from a presenters predicament
  • Ability to include a presenter that cannot physically attend
  • Ability to send conference material out to web for remote attendees

Some cons of teleconferencing at a conference include:

  • Technical failures with equipment, including connection issues
  • Complex interpersonal communication, delays and signal inconsistencies can complicate 2 way interaction
  • Less personal as compared to live attendance
  • Lack of participant familiarity with the equipment
  • Acoustical problems within the teleconferencing rooms
  • Extra prep and testing time needed for set-up

We have assisted several of our clients with their teleconferencing needs. Unfortunately, sometimes a presenter isn’t able to make it to the conference due to flight or health issues, unexpected life events or scheduling conflicts. Not to worry, Breakout Audio Visual specializes in being prepared for unexpected situations! Whether it’s a presentation from a remote African village or an emergency up-link, we have your back. Breakout is here to help make your show a success without the stress.

“Kurt, thanks again for ANOTHER awesome AFFI-CON. You and your team knocked it out of the park at the annual meeting! I think the AFFI team loved the headsets. I look forward to another great FBEC in March!”
